Worship Services have always been an integral part of the Gorsley experience with contemporary and traditional praise and worship supporting challenging and relevant bible-based teaching. With broad age ranging congregations we seek to provide worship services that encompasses and includes all personal tastes whilst avoiding becoming complacent or monotonous. We have many gifted and anointed musicians and teachers who provide traditional and contemporary based worship and teaching ministry for all ages.
Gorsley Gathered: 10.30am
Join us in the sanctuary as the whole Church family gather to worship and hear from God. This service has a mix of traditional hymns, contemporary worship songs and relevant teaching. The service lasts of approximately 1.5 hours. Our youth and children’s streams take place during this service. After joining the start of the service the youth and children leave for their groups part way through. The teaching material follows the same theme as the Adult Ministry, presented through games, Bible study, discussion and activities.
Passion (Youth Service): 1st Sunday of the month @10.30am
On the first Sunday of the month the youth run their own service in the Lighthouse Youth Centre.
Classic Praise: 3rd Sunday of the month @3.00pm
Our traditional service takes place once a month and is open to all. Comprising of everyone’s favourite classic hymns and chorus from their youth. Afterwards there’s a time to share together over tea, coffee and sometimes cake!
Evening Discipleship: 6.30pm
Sunday evenings are a bit different to our other services at Gorsley. Geared towards personal discipleship and spiritual growth we run a selection of courses to help you develop your prayer lives, provide great techniques to handle God’s Word and an opportunity look into various issues on a deeper level. These courses change throughout the year so please click here to find which courses are running now.
Our Wednesday service offers another opportunity in the week to worship & learn. It’s more intimate than our other services, consisting of a longer time of worship and a time to respond to the teaching.
